Parwanoo rests in the low rolling Shiwalik
hills which from the southern boundary of Himachal Pradesh and
Himachal Tourism's hotel at Parwanoo is called the Hotel Shiwalik.
Just above the highway, it is one of the first buildings in town and
is an excellent introduction to Himachal's Hospitality. Here is the
perfect place for the businessman, the start of a great holiday for
the tourist or even a respite from a long journey.
Next to the hotel and right on the highway,
Himachal Tourism also runs the cafe Shiwalik at Parwanoo, and also
Tourist Information Office.
